Reception

The front door of AAPI-SJ. This is where families are welcomed and check in for activities, where donations are received, and where the notice board shows schedules, campaigns and announcements. The side entrance leads straight into the activity room.

Where families are registered and where all the association's administrative work is handled: documents, files and day-to-day organization, so that every visit is carefully recorded.

Activity room 1 — Childhood and Adolescence Care

The room where the Childhood and Adolescence Care program takes place: welcome time, daily routine, learning activities and the Art Corner, where children draw, paint and display their work. On the walls, the Touch Traffic Light and the Behavior Traffic Light help teach self-care and getting along. The room has girls' and boys' bathrooms adapted for children.

Activity room 2 — Library

A large room with tables for group activities and the AAPI-SJ library, with children's books arranged within the children's reach. This is where story time, homework and workshops take place.

Dining hall

Where children and families eat the meals prepared by the Solidarity Kitchen: breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack, at long tables made for eating together. On the wall, the Menu of the Day reminds everyone that here “love gains flavor”.

Donations room — Mom and Baby Corner

A space of the Acolhe Mãe program where expectant mothers and moms choose donated clothes, shoes, layettes and baby items. It is lovingly arranged like a little shop, so that every mother is received with dignity.

Kitchen and pantries

The heart of the Solidarity Kitchen: this is where the meals served to children and families are prepared every day. Next to it are the food pantry (canteen), with access restricted to staff, and the cleaning supplies pantry, both organized to maintain hygiene and keep track of stock.

Restroom and water fountains

Next to the dining hall, chilled water fountains are available to children and families, alongside the restroom with a shower.

Main hallway and Dream Board

The hallway that connects the rooms holds the Dream Board, made by the teenagers: each group answered “What do I dream of?”, “What could get in my way?” and “What could help me?”. A daily reminder that here we also care for the future.

Under renovation

Outdoor area

The lot next to the headquarters is being cleared and prepared to become a new space for children and families. The land has already been cleared with machinery and a topographic survey has been carried out.
