St. Joseph, pray for us

Guided by love of neighbor, by charity, by respect for life and by faith in God, we strive to act with integrity, solidarity and social justice.

Devotion to St. Joseph

Consecration to St. Joseph — traditional text, pending confirmation by the President’s office:

O glorious St. Joseph, chosen by God to be the foster father of Jesus, the most chaste spouse of Mary and the head of the Holy Family, I choose you this day to be my father, protector and guide.

With all confidence I consecrate to you my person, my family and this work: keep us under your protection, defend the children we welcome and the mothers who turn to us.

Teach us your hardworking silence, faithfulness in little things and the love that serves without seeking reward.

Grant that, by imitating your virtues, we may be worthy to have you as our father on earth and our intercessor in Heaven. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph

Prayer for Children — Pastoral da Criança (Children’s Ministry)

Lord, who love and protect children, bless all those you have entrusted to our care.

Give them health, bread, tenderness and a home where they can grow in peace.

Bless mothers and fathers, and all who devote themselves to serving the little ones.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the lives of unborn babies

Lord, author of life, we praise you for every child conceived, known and loved by you from the very first moment.

Protect unborn babies and sustain the mothers who carry them in their wombs, especially those who face fear and loneliness.

Give us welcoming hearts, so that no one has to choose between the life of her child and her own hope.

May every life be received as a gift. Amen.

Our team prays the Holy Rosary every day, Monday through Friday, at 8:45 a.m.
